I enjoyed growing up in a small Texas community.  After graduating from high school I attended Texas A&M University.  Upon graduating from A&M, I relocated to Houston then to the San Antonio area to pursue my career in real estate property management.  The large cities were wonderful for my career but then my husband, Jerry, and I were blessed with a daughter, Bonnie.  With Bonnie's birth, I started reminiscing about my life growing up in a small community.   In 1993 we relocated to the Columbus area.  After ten years of being a stay-at-home mom, I activated my broker’s license and teamed up with a dear friend and experienced Realtor, Nicky Hammett.  Nicky and I worked together for Keller Williams Realty out of the Houston area for two years selling rural real estate in the Colorado, Fayette, Austin, Lee and Lavaca Counties.  In August of 2003, we opened Texas Star Realty, which has been and continues to be a wonderful experience. 

   Besides being a full time Realtor, I have also maintained a very active involvement with numerous school and community activities such as Parent Teacher Organizations, Girl Scouts, Columbus Aquatic Team, etc.
